I'm a mother of 3, a military wife, a veteran, and an accidental crafter. I'm also a proud grandmother, but I go by Lovey (it makes me feel younger).
I grew up surrounded by creativity. My mother was always making something, whether it was tole painting, refinishing antique furniture, putting together floral arrangements, or building tiny little scenes in a bottle. Me? I was convinced the crafty gene skipped me entirely. I can't draw to save my life, I don't have the patience for tiny painted details, and every piece of furniture I've ever tried to refinish... let's just say it did not turn out the way I pictured it. I grew up singing and acting, so I figured music was my one and only creative gift. Who would have thought!
Then 2019 rolled around with the birth of my last baby, which meant maternity leave and plenty of time at home. I'd been seeing those Cricut machines everywhere, did a little research, and thought it would be pretty neat to make my baby some cute onesies. So I bought one, figuring it would be a fun little project to fill the time between naps and feedings.
Well... I was hooked. Once I started posting what I was making, friends and family started asking me to make things for them too. And just like that, Crazy Crafty Chick was born!

From custom apparel, one of a kind keepsakes, and holiday favourites to memorial pieces that mean the world to the families who receive them, everything is picked or made like it's going to someone I love.
Being a mom and a veteran taught me what really matters: family, thoughtfulness, and showing up for the people you love. That's what I try to put into every order.
So here's to the onesies that started it all... and to whatever we dream up next!
